Tooth Extractions

While we will make every effort to save every tooth, there are instances when a tooth is unable to be salvaged. A tooth can be badly damaged from decay or trauma, or can have infection in or around it due to an abscess or periodontal disease. If a tooth reaches the point of a required extraction, most extractions are able to be performed in our office.

Some extractions, however, may require the expertise of an oral surgeon. For these cases, patients will be referred to a specialist with whom we have an excellent working relationship and longstanding professional history.
