Meet Dr. BRANDON ALEGRE
Dr. Brandon Alegre has been practicing in Boca Raton since 2007, focusing on general, cosmetic and implant dentistry. In addition to his dental degree, he has completed extensive continuing education on full mouth restoration, implant surgery and cosmetic procedures at the prestigious Spear Institute. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI).
Patients can feel relaxed in our office. Dr. Alegre provides options and only offers what the patient really needs. “There is never any hard sell here. It should be clear what treatment is necessary, and I try to be as conservative as possible to conserve the integrity of the patient’s teeth and gums,” he says.
Most important to Dr. Brandon is maintaining an extremely high standard in dentistry: “I pride myself on being a perfectionist, and I always strive to do the best work possible.”
LATEST TECHNOLOGY
Dr. Alegre has always employed the latest in technological advances in his daily diagnosis and treatment of patients. In 2012 he began integrating Cone Beam CT technology into his practice, using it for the diagnosis and planning of implant surgery and root canal therapy. He added 3D software, which helps him view the implant surgery in magnified detail, and the latest in intraoral scanners.
EDUCATION
Brandon Alegre, DMD, FICOI, received both his bachelor’s and dental degrees from the University of Florida in Gainesville. Subsequently, Dr. Alegre completed a hospital-based General Dentistry Residency at the Bay Pines VA Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. During his time there, Dr. Alegre served as an integral part of the dental clinic, treating complex rehabilitation cases, emergency procedures, and further training in all aspects of dentistry.
CONTINUING EDUCATION
Dr. Alegre is committed to continuing education, attending the local study club chapter of the Spear Institute for Dental Education and traveling nationally for conferences and symposiums on the latest techniques and treatment modalities, which are in turn, practiced in-office, incorporating cutting-edge technology and customized care for all of his patients.
PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS
Dr. Alegre is a member of the Florida Dental Association, Atlantic Coast District Dental Association, the Florida Academy of Dental Practice Administration and he is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
COMMUNITY MINDED
Dr. Brandon grew up around the Boca Raton area and has always loved being part of the community. He volunteers monthly at the Caridad Center in Boynton Beach where he donates free dental treatment.
He is a committee member and participant in the Florida Dental Association’s “Mission of Mercy” events that provide free dental care to people across the state.
