Brandon Alegre, DMD, FICOI
Dr. Brandon Alegre received both his Bachelor’s and Dental degrees from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. Subsequently, Dr. Alegre completed a hospital-based General Dentistry Residency at the Bay Pines VA Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. During his time there, Dr. Alegre served as an integral part of the dental clinic, treating complex rehabilitation cases, emergency procedures, and further training in all aspects of dentistry.
Upon completion of his residency program, Dr. Alegre returned to South Florida and has been in private practice in Boca Raton, since 2007, with his focus on cosmetic, implant, and sedation dentistry.
Consistent with South Florida’s diversity, Dr. Alegre is tri-lingual — speaking French, Spanish, and English– enhancing patient comfort and overall communication.
A leader in his profession, Dr. Alegre is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, was named a Fellow within the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and served as the President of the South Palm Beach County Dental Association during 2013-14. Dr. Alegre is committed to continuing education, attending the local study club chapter of the Spear Institute for Dental Education and traveling nationally for conferences and symposiums on the latest techniques and treatment modalities, which are in turn, practiced in-office incorporating cutting-edge technology and customized care for all of his patients.
With a heart for community, Dr. Alegre also enjoys giving of his time to various charitable ventures and organizations in the South Florida area. Dr. Alegre volunteers monthly at the Caridad Center in Boynton Beach where he donates free dental treatment to the underserved population in the area. Watch WPTV news video from this event.
Dr. Alegre participates in the Florida Dental Association’s Mission of Mercy Program, a two- day clinic which provides free dental care to the underserved and uninsured in Florida – those that would otherwise go without dental care. The Florida Mission of Mercy is a first-come, first-serve event with the goal of treating 2,000 patients in two days. 4Kids of South Florida is an organization serving the tri-county area and a cause Dr. Alegre passionately supports. Every day, seven children across South Florida are removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. Through a partnership of committed churches, corporations, foundations, and individuals working collectively, 4Kids of South Florida aims to find a home for every child in crisis.
