Natural-looking all-porcelain crowns

Dr. Alegre prefers to use all-porcelain crowns as they are more aesthetic and lifelike. Because of modern technology, the porcelain he uses for his crowns are as strong or stronger than porcelain-fused to metal crowns.

He works with a lab that uses high-quality materials and know how to create natural-looking crowns that will fit the patient’s face.

What are crowns used for?

Crowns are used to conserve broken, cracked, worn or decayed teeth. In addition, they are used to strengthen a tooth that has had a root canal, and to replace missing or extracted teeth, on top of a dental implant.

Dr. Alegre also uses crowns for cosmetic purposes: to cover bad discoloration and to correct mild crowding or crooked teeth. Crowns can also adjust a person’s bite so they can chew more comfortably and don’t wear down the opposing teeth.

State-of-the-art technology

Instead of using goopy impression material, Dr. Alegre uses the latest in digital scanners.
